  5. Pics from my latest visit to the newly opened #MarltonHotel #nyc #hotel

  6. The Marlton Hotel is located in New York City’s Greenwich Village at 5 West 8th street between 5th and 6th avenues. The 107-room hotel is the brain child of Sean MacPherson who has opened various other hotels in the city such as The Jane and the Bowery Hotel, among others. Recently opened during New York Fashion Week, the hotel has been the talk of the nightlife crowd as it has hosted various fashion week after parties.

I have yet to check out the hotel first hand but I am excited to dine at the hotel’s french restaurant and sip drinks at its cocktail bar. The hotel’s website is kinda funky and doesn’t work properly so hopefully they can get that fixed up as demand for this swanky new hotel grows. Stay posted for new photos of the property after I get a chance to visit in a few weeks.

  7. What used to be the Charles Street Jail in Boston’s Beacon Hill neighborhood is now the luxurious Liberty Hotel. From the picture above you can see just how much this space was transformed. I had the opportunity to visit the property recently and party it up at the hotel’s very popular bar called Alibi. The hotel features 300 guestrooms and is a part of Starwood Hotel’s, The Luxury Collection. This is a spectacular Boston hotel which has turned into a destination for nightlife and tourists alike. To learn more about the property visit them at their website here: http://www.libertyhotel.com/index.html

  8. Daniel, Smart Luxury. Only in Vienna & Graz for now… This is a must see here: http://www.hoteldaniel.com/.

  9. I have been meaning to post about The James NYC located in south west SoHo for a while now.  I had the opportunity to check out this amazing hotel about a month ago with one of the guys from the previous ownership company BCRE who have since sold the property to Prudential Real Estate Investors.  The Jimmy rooftop bar is a real treat with 360 degree panoramic views of the city and not to mention a chic rooftop pool and deck area.  The hotel is designed with natural materials and neutral colors which is very appropriate for the SoHo area.  At night, the bar area located around the hotel comes to life and is definitely a destination for many city folk and tourists alike.  If you’re in the neighborhood I would suggest swinging by or looking for a swanky SoHo hotel then I think you have met your match.  For more info check out the hotel’s website here: http://www.jameshotels.com/new-york/.

  10. Exciting news today as Thompson Hotels just revealed the birth of their new “younger brother” Tommie.  The Tommie concept is aimed at the Millennial segment with cool new “crash pad” rooms and “Reading Rooms” as public lounges.  The rooms are supposed to start at $200 for their first location in NYC in the Murray Hill neighborhood.  Great to see a new hotel brand targeted at the young modern traveler but lets just wait and see if they can execute it properly.  For more info, read what Niki Leondakis, CEO of Commune Hotels & Resorts has to say about the concept here: http://www.hotelnewsnow.com/Articles.aspx/10575/Leondakis-dishes-on-new-Tommie-brand

  11. Hidden within the Flat Iron area of mid-town Manhattan is the Flatiron hotel. This boutique hotel features just 65 rooms which makes it a cozy destination for travelers looking to stay in New York City. The Flatiron hotel is also known for being a late night destination thanks to Toshi’s Living Room and Penthouse. What’s interesting about Toshi’s is that they don’t advertise and as their website says, “if you know about us, that’s because a friend told you”. So, now the secret’s out… check out this very cool space for a fun time. To learn more about the Flatiron Hotel visit their website here: http://www.flatironhotel.com and to learn more about Toshi’s check out their website here: http://toshislivingroom.com.

  12. This is the home of the NEW Ace Hotel which is slated to open in Los Angeles, California very soon. As you can see the space is of the old United Artists Theatre building on Broadway. I am really excited to see how the space is going to be renovated into a new hotel.

In other news, I had a chance to meet Brad Wilson who is President at Ace Hotel Group and I got exclusive information about 3 new Ace Hotels which are currently in development!! Keep checking my blog in the next few months for more information about these exciting new hotels coming to market.

  13. The Avicii Hotel Promotion!

  14. The Marlin Hotel at 1200 Collins Avenue in South Beach is transforming into the Avicii Hotel 15 - 25 March 2013 to celebrate the largest electronic music festival in the world ULTRA Miami. The promotion includes four available room packages where customers can get an Avicii gift bag, Ultra Music Festival VIP tickets, and a personal invite to Avicii’s annual private party at a secret location. I think this is an awesome idea to promote both Avicii and the Marlin Hotel. To learn more about this crazy collaboration check out the promotion’s website here: http://www.theaviciihotel.com/. Also check out the promotional video as well on my next post! For all those going to ULTRA this year have an amazing time and see you next year in Miami!

  15. The pictures above are exclusive photos from the development site of the new 5 Beekman hotel which is opening in New York City. The hotel is going to be managed by Thomson Hotels and is going to feature two fine dining restaurants and tons of lounge and communal space. I am really looking forward to seeing the completed product once the renovation is completed. After seeing the amazing 5 Beekman building and getting insight on the planned design and operations I have no doubt that this is going to be an amazing property and will hopefully revitalize the City Hall area of lower Manhattan.
